Five-Year Education Program - Advantages
- Students spend more time (12 additional credits) on their Arts & Science major which helps prepare them for the MTELs
- Transfer students are not 'Behind' when they arrive as juniors
- Students receive the Bachelor's degree after four years; the M.Ed. after the fifth year (Summer session between fourth and fifth year is required)
- Students may complete the M.Ed. Degree as 'Non-Licensure' if unsuccessful on the MTELs
- This program accommodates students who do not pass the MTELs, providing opportunities for employment in the private sector
