This program is designed for students with a baccalaureate degree in psychology, criminal justice or a closely related field. The forensic psychology program is primarily concerned with the application of psychological principles and skills to the understanding and functioning of the legal and criminal justice system. Upon completion of the program, students are employable at prisons, correctional centers, detention facilities, hospitals, mental health centers and addiction services. The program also provides a solid foundation for continued graduate study.
