Giving Students the Best of Both Worlds!

An MBA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management provides the solid business background needed to succeed in today's competitive nonprofit environment. Students complete the core MBA program, then take a concentration of six courses in their specialty area. Depending on your interests and flexibility, the program also includes an elective in comparative international study - providing students with the opportunity to study nonprofit organizations outside the United States.

Along with the standard requirements, this concentration also requires the following:

  • NPM401: Introduction to the Nonprofit Sector
  • NPM402: Organizational Leadership and Strategic Management
  • NPM510: Introduction to Fundraising
  • NPM640: Board and Volunteer Development
  • GBS835: Policy Formation - CAPSTONE

Nonprofit students are also required to take one elective from the following offerings:

  • OGD545: Managing Diversity in the Workplace
  • GBS999: International Comparative Study
