Welcome

Dean's Message

Dear Prospective MBA Student,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the School of Business Administration at American International College. With over a half century of experience in providing MBA education, our professional school provides the type of relevant educational experience needed to succeed in today's increasingly competitive workforce.

There are many MBA degrees out there, and each college or university makes similar claims of outstanding faculty, curriculum, and learning experiences. So how does one go about narrowing the field of possibilities to find the "right" program?

I believe there are a number of factors to consider, not the least of which is cost. With the price of higher education continuing to skyrocket, can the public really afford to spend an additional $60,000 to $100,000+ on an MBA program? Being sensitive to the uncertainties of the current economic climate, AIC has addressed the issue of MBA tuition and is pleased to offer our MBA program at a highly affordable price. We believe this pricing makes sound economic sense - for parents, new graduates, and for the seasoned working professional.

Convenience is an equally important consideration. During my career in higher education, I've spoken to many students who want an MBA but who simply cannot fit the intensive experience into their busy lives. At American International College, our School of Business Administration is sensitive to the needs of working professionals. Our new High Performance MBA has been carefully designed to give you a solid academic experience in two years or less.

The academic experience is undoubtedly the most important consideration when narrowing the field of potential MBA programs. Look for an accredited program with innovation, courses that interest you, a respected faculty, and an opportunity to enhance your base of experience via an international experience. I am proud to say that our MBA offerings meet these criteria, and after reading the following pages I believe you'll see why the AIC MBA degree is often a student's first degree of choice. I wish you the best in your educational and professional endeavors.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lea Johnson
