Principles and practices in a learning organization and the supervision of educational personnel and programs as defined by both traditional and current supervisory practices will be examined. The impact of the Massachusetts Education Reform Act of 1993 and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 will be studied as part of institutional reform. There is an emphasis on staff development, multiple aspects of evaluation, promoting personnel development to include knowledge of best practices for teaching and learning, in a variety of environments. 15 hours of pre-practicum fieldwork is required.
