Students wishing to pursue a major in Economics / Finance are directed to consult with the department chair at the earliest possible date. Thorough exposure to current economic theory and problem solving is provided. Political, social and business elements are integrated into economic decisions. Creative thinking in and both individual and team projects help students develop sound economic solutions.

Career Opportunities

Finance majors work in financial and budget Analysis as well as credit, cash, and investment management. Graduates can also administer payroll and benefits. Finance majors work for banks and private businesses. They can also obtain jobs in the public sector, schools and universities, foundations and hospitals.
