The marketing major prepares students for a career in wholesaling, retailing, advertising, promotion, sales, or research, to name only a few areas of marketing. The curriculum integrates principles and concepts with proven techniques and practical applications important for a successful career in marketing.
In this program, you will complete 27 credits of introductory courses in English, Science, the Social Sciences, and the Humanities. You will also complete 36 credits of introductory courses in Accounting, Law, Economics, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Statistics, and Math. You will finish the program with an introductory Psychology course and upper-level courses in Marketing, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Math, Statistics, and 24 credits of electives, for a total of 120 credits.
