The physical therapy program educates graduates to practice autonomously and ethically in the multifaceted and culturally diverse healthcare environment of today and the future. The graduates will continue to meet the present and future needs of society through continued life-long professional service and development.
In concert with the mission of the college, the program in physical therapy facilitates a teaching-learning environment through interactive and collaborative learning experiences. This allows the student to demonstrate cognitive knowledge, psychomotor and professional behavior skills that will enable them to assume diverse lifelong roles of health care practitioner, which includes clinician, advocate, manager, teacher, learner, and researcher.
