Application Procedures
A copy of our Transfer Application is available here. You may also request an application by calling our office at 800.242.3142, or by email at inquiry@aic.edu, or you may pick up a copy of the application in person at the Office of Addmissions. Please remember to provide your full name and mailing address when requesting an application to be mailed to you.
The application process is on a "rolling" basis for admission into all programs, meaning there is no application deadline. If you have questions or need advice about when you should complete the application, please contact the Office of Admissions.
The following items are required to complete the application process:
- Completed application form
- $25 application fee
- OFFICIAL transcripts from ALL colleges and universities previously attended
- Unofficial copy of your high school diploma, or GED certificate
- One letter of recommendation
PLEASE NOTE! For the entering Fall, 2010 Nursing Transfer Class, our nursing program has reached its capacity. Watch for the Nursing Criteria for Fall, 2011 to be posted by 10/1/10.

International Students - If you are an international student and will require an F-1 student visa, please see our international web pages.
Joint Admissions
AIC has joint admission agreements with several two-year colleges. Please contact the Office of Admissions to determine if you are eligible. Students who are eligible for joint admissions will complete the intent to enroll and the participation form in lieu of the traditional application. There is no application fee required to complete the intent to enroll form.
Returning Students
If you previously attended American International College and have not attended another institution since withdrawing, you do not need to reapply for admission. Please contact the registrar's office to reenroll. If you have attended another institution since withdrawing from the college, you will need to reapply.
