Immediately following graduation from high school, Pauline Mortenson attended and graduated from Holyoke Community College with her Associate Degree. Years later, Pauline transferred to American International College as a non-traditional student. The welcoming environment of the campus helped Pauline to feel comfortable, and find ease in her transfer and transition to AIC. Pauline went on to graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Human Resource Mgt. Soon after, Pauline received her MBA while employed in Admissions at AIC. Notably, Pauline has been the recipient of the renowned New England Transfer Association Distinguished Service Award. This honor is given to one member of NETA per year in recognition of outstanding and dedicated service to transfer students. Pauline has presented on transfer and international admission issues within the U.S. and internationally as part of AIC's outreach to counselors, families and students.
Pamela Hart

Pamela Hart began her scholarly career earning her Associate Degree in Liberal Studies from Nassau Community College. Here she graduated with the high scholastic achievement of cum laude honors. This degree enabled Pam to receive an academic scholarship to CW Post College, a branch of Long Island University. While attending CW Post, Pam was a double major in English and History, earning a Bachelor of Arts upon graduation. Years later, at a transitional time in her life, Pam felt fortunate to return to college. She entered into the Graduate Program at American International College and soon earned her Masters Degree in School Guidance Counseling. Presently, Pam is a student in AIC's new and innovative Doctoral Program.
Joanne Germano

Joanne Germano earned her Bachelor of Science degree in General Business from American International College in May of 2008. She graduated with the prestigious academic achievement of cum laude honors. In addition, Joanne was a four-year member of the AIC Women's Soccer Team and a two-year captain. Impressively, Joanne was selected as the team's MVP for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 seasons. Furthermore, in 2007, Joanne was voted All New England and was chosen for the Northeast - 10 First Team in soccer. Joanne recently completed the Cape Cod Marathon in under four and a half hours. Currently, Joanne attends AIC, is studying a Master's degree in Business Administration, and will graduate in May 2010.
Lauren Sulmone

Looking to attend a smaller, more diverse, out of state college, and to play Division II tennis, Lauren Sulmone transferred from a University in New Jersey to American International College. While attending AIC as an undergraduate student Lauren was a Criminal Justice Major, with a minor in Psychology, and graduated as the Class of 2006 Valedictorian earning a GPA of 3.99. In addition, Lauren was a member of Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society, and Psi Chi, the Psychology National Honor Society. Furthermore, Lauren was awarded "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges", and spoke as the 2006 AIC Ivy Orator at Academic Awards Night. Lauren currently attends AIC and is enrolled in the Forensic Psychology Graduate Program. Upon completion of her degree, Lauren hopes to continue to further her education while pursuing a rewarding career in the legal or criminal justice system.
