You've applied! Congratulations. Wasn't it a rush to click that "submit" button?
Now the hard part - the waiting - begins. We know you're going to be wondering about whether or not we got your official transcript and if that important letter of rec has been received by our office yet. The good news? Our online application system makes it easy for you to check the status of your application anytime, anywhere.
Just click here with your username and password, and see exactly what we've received so far.
We know that the waiting is the hardest part. After putting in all the work to gather transcripts, write a personal statement, and complete the application form, we know that nerves can kick in as you wait for an admissions decision. That's why our admissions counselors work so quickly to review your application. Once a complete application is received (including transcripts and test scores), a decision is typically made within a week.
However, applications to our Health Science programs (nursing, occupational therapy and physical therapy) are only reviewed immediately following an application deadline.
AIC's Honors Program is an invite-only program. During our review of your application, we will also be keeping an eye out for whether or not we think you'd be a good fit. We take into consideration your academic transcript, relevant test scores, passion, motivation, intellectual curiosity, and desire to engage in the AIC honors community.
If we think you'd be a good fit and you meet the minimum academic qualifications, we'll send you an invitation to apply shortly after you're accepted. At that point, you will submit a short application essay and if selected, we'll put you in touch with Dr. Thomas Maulucci, Director of the Honors program (and all-around great guy.)
Not invited to apply, but still interested? Believe you have what it takes to contribute to our community of scholars? Email your admissions counselor - after all, we're always looking for smart, engaged students.
