While in at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA Kim was lucky enough to work in the Guidance Office as a student worker thus started her career choice of working with students. Kim attended Elms College and graduate in 1995 with her B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Social Work/Coaching. While at Elms she furthered her interest in higher education by working in the Admissions Office for four years, and being a Resident Advisor for Housing. After graduation, Kim chose to go right on to Graduate School at Springfield College and earn her M.Ed. in Higher Education - Student Personnel Administration in 1997. After graduation, she then worked as an Admissions Counselor for 1 year at Southern Vermont College. Then she worked for 7 years as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Director of Admission at Springfield Technical Community College. Finally, she moved over to American International College where she has been the director of freshman admissions since 2006. Kim focuses on the local territory of Western Mass, Berkshire, Hampshire and Franklin Counties. Kim has also been very involved over the last 10 years in the Western Mass Counselor Association where she has served as President for the association as well.
Pauline Mortenson

Immediately following graduation from high school, Pauline Mortenson attended and graduated from Holyoke Community College with her Associate Degree. Years later, Pauline transferred to American International College as a non-traditional student. The welcoming environment of the campus helped Pauline to feel comfortable, and find ease in her transfer and transition to AIC. Pauline went on to graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Human Resource Mgt. Soon after, Pauline received her MBA while employed in Admissions at AIC. Notably, Pauline has been the recipient of the renowned New England Transfer Association Distinguished Service Award. This honor is given to one member of NETA per year in recognition of outstanding and dedicated service to transfer students. Pauline has presented on transfer and international admission issues within the U.S. and internationally as part of AIC's outreach to counselors, families and students.
Wally Soufane

Wally Soufane first became interested in student affairs work as a Peer Advisor at Springfield Technical community college (STCC) where he earned two associate degrees and one certificate degree. He later went on to earn his B.S. degree in Natural Science from Worcester State College in 1994. After years of working in a variety of careers and settings he returned to pursue a career in College Student Affairs. He then went back to graduate school to earn his M.Ed. in Higher Education/Student Affairs from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2003. During this period, he worked in the Dean of Students office at UMass-Amherst for one and a half years and also as an Admissions Counselor at Springfield Technical Community college for four and a half years before joining the Admissions team at AIC in 2006 as the Assistant Director of Freshman Admissions. His recruiting territory includes all of Connecticut and Rhode Island.

A 1997 graduate of Quaboag Regional Middle High School (QRMHS) in Warren, Massachusetts, Eric has been employed as an assistant director of admissions at American International College since 2004. Shortly after graduating from QRMHS, Eric began work for CommutAir and Allegheny Airlines. In 2000, Eric enrolled in college and graduated summa cum laude from American International College with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice in 2004. While at American International College Eric was inducted into the Alpha Chi and Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Societies. Also while in college, Eric returned to QRMHS and substitute taught in grades 7 through 12 for three years. Eric's primary recruiting territories are Central Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (zipcodes 12001 and higher), Vermont, and Pennsylvania and all states south and west of there. In addition, Eric has other responsibilities in the office including: Athletics and ROTC liaison and is responsible for scheduling college fair coverage.
Herman Wilkinson

Herman comes to American International College with a wide variety of talents and experiences that propelled his career into admission counseling. Herman received his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before coming to the admissions field, Herman worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in Springfield as an Inventory Control Planner in later years as a Purchasing Specialist. In 2004, realizing his true passion, Herman pursued his focus in education and counseling. He worked as a long term substitute in the Springfield Public Schools. He joined the American International College community in 2007 as a mentor/counselor to students admitted into the ACE Program. In 2008 Herman made the natural transition to Admissions, where he continues to impact young people not only here but in his local community as well. His territory is Eastern Massachusetts and Maine.
Pamela Hart

Pamela Hart began her scholarly career earning her Associate Degree in Liberal Studies from Nassau Community College. Here she graduated with the high scholastic achievement of cum laude honors. This degree enabled Pam to receive an academic scholarship to CW Post College, a branch of Long Island University. While attending CW Post, Pam was a double major in English and History, earning a Bachelor of Arts upon graduation. Years later, at a transitional time in her life, Pam felt fortunate to return to college. She entered into the Graduate Program at American International College and soon earned her Masters Degree in School Guidance Counseling. Presently, Pam is a student in AIC's new and innovative Doctoral Program.
Michael Russell

Michael came to American International College in 2004 as an undergraduate student after graduating from Granby High School in Massachusetts. From 2004 through 2010 Michael continued his studies to achieve his Bachelors in Human Resource Management, and a Masters in Business Administration. Throughout his college career Michael worked as a Student Ambassador in the Admissions Office where in 2010 he was hired as a full-time Assistant Director. Michael had the privilege of studying in Ireland and London during his time at AIC during both his undergraduate and graduate years, and has traveled extensively while abroad. Michael focuses on the territory of New York (zip codes less 12000 and under) and New Jersey.
