A campus visit to AIC is the single most important investment you can make in your college search. Choosing a college is as much a matter of the heart as it is a matter of the mind. In addition to knowing the facts, we believe you also need to know the "feel." Are people friendly? Are professors passionate about their work, and excited to share it with you? Can you imagine yourself on campus, walking across the quad from one beautiful building to another? Do the students you meet seem like potential friends?
These aspects of the college experience can only be felt. A campus tour. A meal in the Dining Commons. A meeting with your Admissions Counselor. A class visit. We encourage you to explore AIC by meeting us in person.

Explore the many options for visiting AIC's historic campus in Springfield, including campus tours, information sessions, interviews, and visit programs. For your convenience, AIC offers a variety of ways for you to visit that will allow you the chance to experience for yourself what it means to be a part of the AIC family.
Schedule a Personal Visit
The AIC Office of Undergraduate Admissions is pleased to host personal visits Monday-Friday, 9:00-3:00 pm. A typical visit lasts approximately three hours, and includes a personal interview with an admissions counselor, a campus tour with a student ambassador, a meal in our dining commons, and a chance to visit the AIC bookstore. AIC strives to make the visit experience personal and tailored to your interests, so when you schedule your personal visit, please make sure to indicate if you would like to meet with coaches, faculty, or if you have a particular area of campus you'd like to visit.
Sample Weekday Visit Schedule
- 10:15 a.m. - Arrive on Campus
- 10:30 a.m. - Depart for Campus Tour
- 11:30 a.m. – Meeting with your Admissions Counselor
- 12:30 p.m. - Try the food! Have a meal on us in our Dining Commons
- 1:00 p.m. - Optional Activities: Meet with Faculty, Coach, Classroom Visit, etc., as available
- 1:30 p.m. - Day Concludes

Schedule a Saturday or Holiday Visit
We know that weekends work best for some of our prospective students and families. While a weekend visit doesn't provide the same opportunity to see the hustle and bustle of campus during a busy weekday, we still hit the highlights: A meeting with an admissions counselor, a campus tour, and a meal on us.
Similarly, we know that holiday Mondays can be a convenient time for a college visit.
