3. Once logged in click on MyHousing. You will see your information posted.

First-year and transfer students should arrive on campus on Monday, September 3. All students will be required to check in with Student Accounts BEFORE residence hall keys/Student ID's will be issued. The Student Accounts Office will be open for new students at 8am in the Hall of Fame Room of the Butova Athletic Complex. Parking is available at the Cortland Street Entrance. All new students should be checked in no later than 12 noon. At this location students will be able to address any billing or financial aid questions as well as receive your student ID (please bring if previously issued). Students may also pay their deposit for a cable box ($50) at residence hall check-in. Note that roommates may want to discuss this cost as there is one cable outlet in traditional double rooms.

Returning students may arrive from 2-4pm on Monday, September 3 or from 9am-4pm on Tuesday, September 4. Those arriving on Monday will need to check in at the Hall of Fame Room in the Butova Athletic Complex. Those arriving Tuesday will check in at Lee Hall in the International Room. NO KEYS TO RESIDENCE HALLS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL AFTER CHECKING IN WITH THE STUDENT ACCOUNTS OFFICE. Returning students must note this change and realize that no after hours or alternate check-in times are possible. Returning students should also bring their ID from the previous term, or you will be assessed a $15 fee for a replacement. After checking in with the Student Accounts Office, all keys for returning students will be available for all residents in the Residence Life Office

If you are involved with a fall athletic camp or other type of official early arrival, you should return on the date specified by your coach/supervisor. Your check-in procedure will also be outlined by your coach/supervisor.

It is strongly recommended that you return all your financial information to the Student Accounts Office and health records to Health Services prior to Welcome Week to ensure a seamless process. The process may be longer for you if you wait until move-in day to meet with them. Please contact Student Accounts today to ensure a quick and easy move-in day! (413) 205-3254.

Please be aware of these important documents which can be online here

Student Housing Agreement
What to Bring Checklist
Personal Property Insurance*
Refrigerator Purchase Program
Laptop Computer Purchase Program
Additional Dining Dollars

Most importantly, please take note of the PERSONAL PROPERTY INSURANCE LINK. It is important for each student to have insurance coverage for personal belongings. Many of you may be covered under your parent/guardian's homeowner's insurance. If this is the case, you may not need further coverage. However it is important that you find out this information before arriving on campus. THE COLLEGE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PERSONAL BELONGINGS REGARDLESS OF REASON OR CAUSE. This policy provides coverage at affordable cost with minimal or no deductibles and may be preferable to homeowner's insurance.

If you have further concerns, please email us at residence.life@aic.edu, or call the office at (413) 205-3271, M-F, between 9am-4pm.

We hope you have a great remainder of your summer, and look forward to seeing you in the fall.

Sincerely,

Brian J. O'Shaughnessy
Associate Dean of Students and Interim Director of Residence Life
