Founded in 1974, the Curtis Blake Center was a pioneer in providing guidance and inspiration to elementary-age and high school students with learning disabilities - helping them develop their own unique learning styles. The center, which is staffed by nationally-acclaimed specialists, soon expanded its services to include the Supportive Learning Services program at AIC for full-time college students.
Since then, the program has been a great success in helping students master the learning skills and processes that best enable them to meet standard college requirements, the mission of the college, and the expectations of AIC staff.
