Located in the lower level of the library, the Media Center's primary role is to provide a variety of technical support services and equipment to the academic program, athletic events, and special functions held on the campus. Staffed with competent specialists and assisted by a cadre of student aides; the Media staff schedules and delivers equipment, sets up and operates audio and video systems, and provides training in the operation of media systems.
The Media Center has a facility for duplicating and editing audio and video tapes that have been produced by our own students, faculty, or staff. No tapes with a copyright will be edited or duplicated unless authorization has been granted in writing from the producer.
A collection of commercially produced films, video tapes and audio tapes is housed in the Media Center. These materials are available for the use of faculty, student teachers, and students who have received authorization from a professor to show the media in class.
