Did you know that is possible for you to make a gift in support of American International College while also ensuring you meet your needs for your lifetime and those of your loved ones? These giving techniques are called "planned gifts" because through a bit of easy planning, you, your family and AIC all benefit.

The Cornerstone Society

Without a firm cornerstone, a building could not stand, nor an institution last very long. The cornerstone ensures a firm foundation that leads to a lasting tomorrow. Through the years a number of alumni and friends of American International College have become members of The Cornerstone Society by securing the future of AIC by endowing a gift or including the College in their estate plans.

In recognition of their selflessness and dedication to the College, members of The Cornerstone Society receive an invitation to a special gathering each year, and often receive advance notice of events happening either on campus or in their area of the country.

Gifts Anyone Can Make

Some gifts do not have to cost you anything today but support our mission in the future. These gifts include:

Name American International College as a beneficiary of your will or living
Name American International College as a beneficiary of your qualified retirement plan (IRA, 403(b), 401(k), etc.)
Name American International College as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy

Planned gifts can accomplish any number of things: establish a perpetual family legacy for philanthropic purposes, avoid certain taxes on large retirement plans, increase your income, provide for dependents with special needs, avoid taxes on retained earnings, reduce income taxes, avoid the forced sale of a family business, and/or leave a larger estate to those you love.

Benefits

Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime
You can modify your gift at any time to address changing circumstances
You can direct your gift to a particular purpose (be sure to check with us to make sure your gift can be used as intended)
Under current federal tax law there is no upper limit on the estate tax deduction for your charitable gifts
