American International College is a private, coeducational institution of higher education located on a 60+ acre campus in Springfield, Massachusetts. AIC is currently accepting applications for the Communications Assistant position. Under the direction of the Director of Athletic Communications, the Communications Assistant will assist in the promotion of a 22 sport athletics program, which includes a NCAA Division I menís ice hockey program and 21 NCAA Division II programs. Duties include producing game programs and game notes, in-game scoring, writing press releases, video editing, social media, maintaining historical archives, website maintenance, supervising student workers, conference and NCAA reporting, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Communications Director. Successful Candidate must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. American International College is an NCAA, Division I member of the Atlantic Hockey Association and Division II member of the Northeast 10 Conference.

The Communications Assistant Ė Athletics is a part time, non-exempt position limited to 28 hour per week. Review of application will begin immediately. This is a ten (10) month position (August to May). Anticipate start date is January 2014 through May 2014. This is a benefit non-benefit eligible position. Normal working hours will be flexible to the needs of the department.
