American International College is a private, coeducational institution of higher education located on a 60+ acre campus in Springfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1885, the College has 3500 graduate and undergraduate students. The Assistant Dean of the School/Director, Division of Physical Therapy oversees the academic programs and administrative services within his/her Division and contributes to the achievement of the Schoolís goals and objectives. This is an administrative appointment with some teaching responsibilities for a dynamic and visionary individual. The successful candidate will be an effective leader and communicator with ability to promote excellence in faculty teaching, collaboration, scholarship, and service to ensure success of students at all levels. Other responsibilities include assisting with and participating in budget preparation and management, strategic planning, accreditation efforts, and enrollment management.

Earned doctorate in Physical Therapy or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants who are at the candidacy stage of a doctoral program and who meet the other qualifications for the position will be considered.
The Assistant Dean of the School and Director of Physical Therapy is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position. Normal office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with non-paid lunch break, flexible to the needs of the department. This is a benefit eligible position.
