Circulation Information at Shea Library

Patrons may borrow books and pamphlets from the circulating collection for up to one month. If a patron wishes to extend the borrowing time during the month of the loan, he/she may renew these materials for an additional month providing that they have not been requested by another patron.

Periodicals and reference materials do not circulate. Audiovisual media may be borrowed for up to one week by professors and student teachers in training.

Fines are assessed for overdue materials at the rate of 20 cents a day not to exceed $6.00 per item. Patrons who lose materials will be charged $30.00 for each item along with processing fees.

Reserve materials have been placed at the circulation desk by professors who seek to provide their students with selected reading material which is limited in number of copies available. Restrictions have been placed on the circulation parameters for the use of these materials.
