There will be plenty of singing, dancing and spoken word performances at American International College, as the The Alpha Kappa chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity will be hosting the first annual Alpha Apollo talent show. The event will take place on Friday, March 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Griswold Theatre.

Hosted by Jalil Oates and Chelsea Kemembin, the show will feature spoken word performances by Seferina Starks and Treasure Davis, and a dance routine from Clarensa McCreary, Nengi Omoegbekuse, and Alexis Womack.

There will also be singing performances from AIC alumnus Christy Castillo, and freshman Guetude Oscar. Jasmine Patterson will be dancing.

Along with AIC students, there will be performers from throughout the Springfield area, as well as from UMass Amherst.

The prices are $1.00 for AIC students and $3.00 for the general public. For more information, contact Samuel Walker, Alpha Phi Alpha president, at
