Cahill named Alumni Director at AIC

Heather A. Cahill of East Longmeadow has been named Director of Alumni Relations at American International College. The announcement was made recently by John T. Short, vice president for Institutional Advancement.

Cahill previously served as Alumni Outreach Coordinator at Westfield State College. She was also Senior Associate Alumni Director at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., and Assistant Alumni Director at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.V.

She earned her bachelor's and master's degree at Boston University.

As alumni director, Cahill will be responsible for building relationships with alumni and students in order to foster and strengthen their connection to AIC. She will also collaborate with volunteers to create a national alumni organization, as well as plan events both on and off campus.

Cahill is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Career Resource Managers Association.
