SPRINGFIELD--SPRINGFIELD--More than 100 people were on hand as American International College hosted the 2nd annual President's Society Recognition Reception, Thursday, Oct. 11 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Springfield Museum of Fine Arts at the Quadrangle.
Business and community leaders joined AIC alumni, faculty, students and trustees at the affair, as the college offered thanks to those who have shown support for the institution. The President's Society has grown from 80 members in 2005 to more than 200 this year.
AIC President welcomed the crowd and told them the college's enrollment is at its highest level in many years. He also talked about the many new programs at AIC, including the expansion of the school to locations such as Cairo, Ireland and Italy.
Other speakers included, AIC Chairman of the Board Frank Colaccino, Student Government President Brian Bashaw and Diane Morra, an AIC sophomore.
