Governor Patrick visits AIC on behalf of Obama

SPRINGFIELD--Governor Deval L. Patrick paid a visit to American International College on Wednesday, January 30 campaigning for Senator Barack Obama. The governor met with campaign workers and Obama supporters during a phonathon in the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center.
Governor Patrick told the crowd that he had great confidence in Obama and dismissed criticism that the senator did not have enough experience to be President. "It's not whose turn it is, but whose time it is," Patrick said.
The governor joined the phonathon, making calls to registered voters hoping to get out the vote on Tuesday, Feb. 5, for the Massachusetts Primary.
