Applications for a Graduate Assistant for the Mens and Womens Track and Field programs beginning in the Fall of 2008. Graduate Assistant, Residence Life Office/Resident Director

Description: twelve-month, live-in, graduate student position responsible for the day to day management and administration of a co-educational first-year student residence hall.  Responsibilities include coordinating R.A. duty schedules, counseling residents, crisis intervention, referrals, community development, and the management of student employment areas.

Qualifications: Experience in leadership of a residence hall, knowledge of student development theories, demonstrated ability in management of day-to-day routine operations, ability to relate to people, and motivation to inspire others to success.  Bachelor’s degree required, masters level student pursuing a graduate degree at a CCGS institution preferred. The appointed individual cannot hold full-time employment outside of American International College.

Adjudicate residence hall incidents. 

Compensation:

One Bedroom Apartment, Partial Meal Plan, Student Health Insurance, Tuition waiver (2 courses per semester at AIC only), Monthly Stipend.
