I want to personally welcome you to the School of Psychology and Education.
Your review of this site will reveal the breadth of the School which encompasses the Departments of Psychology, of Education, and of Criminal Justice, as well as the Human Resource Development Program and the Coaching Certificate Program. The common thread that binds these programs together is the goal of developing competent, dedicated individuals eager to serve the needs of other people.

The School of Psychology and Education enjoys a long tradition and a reputation of excellence in Western Massachusetts, New England, and anywhere in the world that our students live and work. Our graduates are leaders in schools as teachers, principals, and administrators; in human service agencies as counselors, therapists, and supervisors; in the justice system as probation officers, police officers, and victim-witness advocates; in human resource positions as trainers, community developers, and production supervisors; and in higher education as coaches, professors, researchers, deans, and even a college president.
For the past twenty-five years I have been a member of the School of Psychology and Education as a Professor, as a Department Chair, and now, as the Dean. I can attest that it is a wonderful and supportive environment in which to work and to assist students just like you to advance your learning and professional preparation.
