Sports Management is an inclusive discipline that prepares students to successfully work within a host of domestic and international sports related businesses. A wide variety of career possibilities await the graduates of the program who are well versed in the business of sports. Possible career opportunities include: sports marketing; facility management; intercollegiate athletic management; player representation; special event management; public relations; ticketing positions; and, merchandising sales, as well as work with professional sports managers.

Internship opportunities exist with the Basketball Hall of Fame, local professional or semi-professional teams and colleges in the area as well as the Mass Mutual Center.

SPM 200 - Management of Sports Industries
SPM 300 - Sports Marketing
SPM 301 - Sports Finance and Economics
SPM 302 - Human Resource Management in the Sports Industry
