Current delays and cancellations
This page will be updated as early as possible on the morning of bad weather - most likely by 615am. Please check this page for information regarding delays or cancellations at AIC for both students and staff due to bad weather or other conditions.
What does Snow Delay mean?
When the college announces a delay in classes due to bad weather, classes affected by the delay will not be held; all other classes will run at the regular time. For example, a one hour delay, means the 8 a.m. class is canceled, and classes will begin with the regular 9 a.m. class (or 9:25 if it's Tues. and Thurs.).
While cancellation announcements will be broadcast on radio and television stations, a more detailed and accurate version will be available on the AIC Website and First Class, or by calling the AIC Storm Center Hotline at (413) 205-3990 (students and faculty) (413) 205-3989 (staff).
Who can I call?
Students and faculty may also dial 413-205-3990 for information about delays and cancellations.
Staff should dial 413-205-3989 for information about office delays and cancellations. Unless specifically stated in the announcements, College offices are open.
