Forensic Psychology (MS)

Program Director: John J. DeFrancesco, Ph.D.

This program is designed for students with a baccalaureate degree in psychology, criminal justice or a closely related field. The Forensic Psychology Program is primarily concerned with the application of psychological principles and skills to the understanding and functioning of the legal and criminal justice system. Upon completion of the program, students are employable at prisons, correctional centers, detention facilities, hospitals, mental health centers, addiction services, and similar such programs. The primary purpose of the program, however, is to prepare students for further graduate study in this exciting and emerging discipline.
