Fine Arts and Humanities
The department provides neither a major or minor but augments the academic curriculum. Its mission is to offer a broad range of introductory courses in Art, Art History, Humanities, Music, and Theater, many of which are designed to apply toward humanities distribution requirements for General Education and all which serve to enhance the learning experience of students by enabling them to share in the cultural heritage of the society in which they live and by opening a rich world for their future enjoyment of life.
