At AIC, students are preparing for an evolving field, where augmented and virtual reality are shaping the future of occupational therapy.
During a recent hands-on experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment, OT students learned ways to support individuals with a range of needs, from mobility and strength to feeding and visual impairmentsβhelping them navigate everyday life with greater independence.
It was an engaging, interactive experience that allowed students learning with fun, all while building skills for their future careers.

Last week, we were pleased to welcome President Kirk Taylor and Ryan Mudawar from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) to American International College to see firsthand how their investment is making an impact.
We also welcomed Organogenesis, an AIC alumni-founded leader in advanced wound care, represented by President and CEO Gary S. Gillheeney, Sr., a member of AICβs Board of Trustees.
From touring a newly renovated life sciences lab, made possible through MLSC support, to conversations with students about their goals, the visit highlighted how AIC is preparing the next generation of talent.
Weβre grateful for MLSCβs continued investment and the role partners like Organogenesis play in supporting innovation on our campus.
