For more than 141 years, AIC has empowered students to lead, serve, and make a difference in their communities.
Alum Ray Berry ’92, founder of @whitelionbrewing, is one example to that legacy. From student-athlete to entrepreneur, his journey reflects the lasting impact of an AIC education and the difference our alumni continue to make in Springfield and beyond.

Behind every case file is a person, a family, and a story.
In AIC`s Victimology course, students gained a deeper understanding of the human side of crime by hearing firsthand from individuals directly impacted by violent crime, as well as the law enforcement professionals who investigated those cases.
Through conversations with guest speakers Penna and retired State Police Sgt. Ronald Gibbons, Professor John Delaney helps students see beyond the facts of a case and better understand the empathy, responsibility, and service required in the criminal justice profession.

American International College has received a $375,000 grant from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) to continue transforming opportunities for students pursuing careers in the life sciences.
The award builds on a 2024 MLSC grant and will support upgrades to laboratory space in AIC’s Old Science Building, including infrastructure improvements and the installation of molecular biology instrumentation. The enhanced learning environment will give students in biology, interdisciplinary science, applied laboratory science, and health sciences programs greater access to the tools and techniques used in biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and research.
We are grateful to the Healey-Driscoll Administration and the MLSC for their continued investment in life sciences education and workforce development across the Commonwealth.
