This morning, as we entered the week of Thanksgiving, AICβs compassion was on full display. Public Health Professor Fred Hooven, Physical Therapy Instructor Tara Maroney, and Chris Dias, a graduate assistant in Student Success Advising, led the AIC FIGHTING HUNGER team in the 16th annual March for the @foodbankwma with Monte Belmonte of @nepublicmedia.
Each step and every dollar raised helps the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts provide two nutritious meals for families in our community who are facing food insecurity.
This yearβs march carried even deeper meaning for us with the recent opening of THE BUZZ STOP, AICβs student food pantry made possible with support from the Food Bank.

AIC Sports Management Club hosted its Sports Leadership Panel last week, bringing together five sports industry professionals to share insights on leadership, career development, and breaking into the field.

Last month, we opened The Buzz Stop, our newest food pantry dedicated to supporting all members of our campus communityβno questions asked.
Located in the Student Affairs office on the upper level of the Schwartz Campus Center, The Buzz Stop provides access to nonperishable and perishable food items, as well as essential academic supplies for those in need.
A special thanks to Jennifer McGrath, director of philanthropy and community engagement at @mgmspringfield, for visiting the pantry during our open tour last week and reaffirming MGMβs continued commitment to addressing food insecurity.

Our Admission team has been out and about meeting prospective students and families and spreading the buzz about AIC wherever we go.
But welcoming students on our own turf is always something special. Last month, we proudly hosted the National Hispanic College Fair in the Butova Gymnasium, bringing together high school students and representatives from colleges and universities across New England.
