Program Details

The Chemistry minor provides students with an understanding of the basic nature and behavior of the matter and energy comprising the universe. Existing in many ways at the heart of the scientific field, chemistry provides the foundation for understanding a broad array of scientific disciplines at a fundamental level.

Minor Courses: Students must complete all courses listed here to receive a Minor in Chemistry:

  • CHE1600/1601: General Chemistry I, with lab
  • CHE1700/1701: General Chemistry II, with lab

Plus 12 credits from 2000-level chemistry courses that satisfy the chemistry major and include at least two credits of laboratory.
