Why Major in Economics and Finance at AIC?
So much of society is shaped by finance and economics. Together, they govern market trends while simultaneously underscoring all business activities, like profit margins or the success of a new product. They’re also instrumental in how people generate wealth, plan their futures, and contribute to their communities.
American International College builds on our pioneering legacy to introduce students to financial strategies and the world’s ever-evolving economic systems. Our graduates have driven Western Massachusetts forward as far back as our origins, and today, our Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program prepares a new generation to follow in these important footsteps.
Yellow Jackets learn how the economy works through an introduction to financial analysis, asset management, and theory that we balance with internships and hands-on training in industry-standard software. With this comprehensive toolkit, they not only know how to explain market ups and downs—they’re ready to make decisions that strengthen individuals, companies, and communities.
