GROW-You Scholarship Program

Overview

The GROW-You Scholarship Program at American International College (AIC) is designed to provide comprehensive support and financial assistance to students pursuing degrees in Educational Studies and Drug Addiction Counseling. Our mission is to empower students to achieve their academic and career goals by offering a robust support system and valuable resources throughout their educational journey.

Requirements/Eligibility

To be eligible for the GROW-You Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: Must be a Springfield Resident
• Commitment to Program: Demonstrate a commitment to completing the chosen program. (Educational Studies Program or Drug Addiction Counseling Program)
• Accreditation: Must have 60 credits and/or a completed Associates degree for the Educational Studies Program. No prior credits are necessary for the Drug Addiction Counseling Program.
• Academic Performance: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Inquiry Form: Submit a completed inquiry form.

• Personal Advisors: Personalized guidance from dedicated academic advisors who are familiar with the specific needs and goals of GROW-You scholars.
• Career Services: Assistance with resume building, interview preparation, career readiness virtual workshops and possible internships to ensure a smooth transition from education to employment.
• Mental Health and Wellness Support: Access to counseling and wellness services to support students mental and emotional well-being.
• Peer Support Network: Connection to a community of fellow GROW-You scholars for peer support and collaboration.
