About Guaranteed Admissions

First-Year Application and Requirements

AIC considers you a first-year student if you have yet to earn 12 college- or university-level credits, excluding credits from Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and dual-enrollment programs. You can apply via the AIC Application or the Common App.

Provide an Official High School Transcript

Have your current or recently attended high school send us an official copy of your transcript. If you were home-schooled or don’t have a traditional transcript, please contact an admissions counselor at admissions@aic.edu or 413-205-3201 for help.

Include Optional Documents

As a test-optional school, we think that letters of recommendation and/or a personal statement give us more insight into who you genuinely are. Our holistic review process encourages you to bring your full self—your interests, life experiences, extracurriculars, achievements, and anything else you wish to share.

Show Us Your Strengths

Count your AP, IB, and dual-enrollment credits toward General Education requirements and show your readiness for our Honors Program. If you plan to play on one of our 20 Division II teams, make sure your application follows NCAA Eligibility Center requirements.

Wait for a Decision

AIC offers rolling admissions, which means that you can apply at any time and will hear back from us within two weeks. Here’s how to proceed once you receive your acceptance letter. Note: Students applying to a health sciences program should expect to hear within three to 11 weeks, based on the time of year.
