WE CAN’T WAIT FOR THE SEMESTER TO BEGIN, BUT FIRST…

There are still a few steps you need to complete before your first day of classes. Take a look at each item listed below and complete all of the necessary ones that pertain to you as soon as they’re available. Think of these steps as a road map to your future at AIC.

Activate your student email

It’s time to get connected to American International College. As an AIC student, you will receive a personalized email account and access to a student portal. Logging in to your new account opens doors to information regarding course registration, program information, news, events and so much more!

Commuters

At AIC, Yellow Jackets who do not plan to live on campus and will commute to class must file a Commuter Eligibility Application in the MyHousing Portal by logging in with your AIC email address and password. This application will open on March 4th.

Complete Housing Application

Yellow Jackets who will be living on campus must file a New & Transfer Student Housing Application in the MyHousing Portal by logging in with your AIC email address and password. This application will open on March 4th.

  • The New & Transfer Student Housing application consists of a quick questionnaire to determine housing eligibility, allows students to choose housing preferences such at building preference, and introduces students to the roommate selection tool and compatibility survey.
  • Finding a roommate is simple with the MyHousing Portal. If you and another Yellow Jacket have completed your housing application, both students can choose one another using our roommate selection tool. If you do not know any fellow Yellow Jackets, a roommate may be selected for you based on your roommate compatibility survey answers.

HOUSING PLACEMENT TIMELINE

  • March 4th – The New & Transfer Student Housing Application opens on the MyHousing Portal
  • April 22nd – The Roommate Matching process opens in the MyHousing Portal. Note: Only students who have applied for housing will be able to search for roommates and be found by other searchers.
  • June 30th – Priority New & Transfer Student Housing Application deadline.
  • July 19th – Students who applied for housing by June 30th will receive their housing assignment.
  • August 2nd – Students who applied for housing between July 1st and July 31st will receive their housing assignment.
  • August 23rd – Move-in Weekend & New Student Orientation.

Receiving your Class Schedule (Coming Soon!)

Complete Financial Responsibility Agreement (Coming Soon!)

The Financial Responsibility Agreement is a required online document that all Yellow Jackets must complete each year for the office of Student Accounts. This document explains the financial policies of the college and asks students to confirm that they have received this important information.

This step is not currently open for students to complete but is expected to open in June on the Student Accounts page on my.aic.edu. Enroll In or Waive College Health Insurance (Coming Soon!)

Submit Health Services Forms

All students are required to complete both required health forms.

    • Page 1: Medical History Form
      • Must be filled out by yourself and/or a parent or guardian.
      • Health Science Students must have proof of a two-step Tuberculin Skin test (Mantoux) or QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood test completed prior to the start of classes.
      • Student Athletes must provide proof of a sickle cell solubility blood test.
    • Page 2: Physical Examination and Immunization Form
      • Must be completed by a licensed medical provider (MD, DO, NP, or PA).
      • A copy of your yearly physical with your immunizations record attached is also acceptable.
  • Forms can be returned via:
    • Upload to your AIC Patient Portal
    • Please login to the Patient Portal using your AIC Email Address and password.

Submit Final High School Transcript (Coming Soon!)

Finalize Financial Plan (Coming Soon!)

Attend a Summer Summit Day Session (Coming Soon!)

Summer Summit Day is a mandatory student orientation during the summer. We offer multiple dates to attend, giving students multiple options that work with their schedules. For students who cannot travel to AIC campus, we offer a virtual option. Students must only attend one session.

Summer Summit Day dates will be announced in April.
