
2025 Summer Summit Days
Summer Summit Days are two-day overnight student-only experiences full of programming where students will have the opportunity to meet fellow Yellow Jackets, receive their class schedules, get immersed in the community, and finalize any remaining details of their enrollment before classes start!
At Summer Summit you will:
- Stay overnight in one of our Residence Halls to get the immersive Yellow Jacket Experience.
- Meet with your Student Success Advisor and receive your class schedule.
- Attend social meet-ups like Karaoke night in the Stinger, an Athletics social, student panels, and group breakfast, lunch, and dinners.
- Explore your academics with faculty meetings, Hive fairs, and more!
This year, we are offering two dates to attend in June or July. Student generally attend only one session.
Summer Summit Day Overnight Dates:

How Long is Summer Summit Day?
- Summer Summit is a two-day overnight experience. Check-in begins at 9:00am on day 1 and ends at 4:00pm the following day.
Is Summer Summit Day Mandatory?
- No, Summer Summit is not mandatory this year.
Can I Bring Guests?
- While we encourage parents or family to bring their student to Summer Summit Day, this is a student-only event. We ask that students be dropped off and picked up in Parking Lot I across from the Griswold Theater.
Where Will I Be Staying Overnight?
- Attendees will be introduced to the real Yellow Jacket experience, staying overnight in Hines Hall with another fellow attendee as their roommate.
Do I Need to Bring Anything?
- Yes. While AIC will have extra overnight items, we may not be able to accommodate all students. We ask that students bring overnight items such as basic toiletries and bedding like a toothbrush and toothpaste, shower items, a sheet, pillow, blanket, a sleeping bag, or a fan. Students are also encouraged to bring any needed items such as prescription medications or comfort items.
