Degree Completion Costs

AIC was founded on the principles of providing access to higher education and removing barriers. Our degree completion program was designed to do exactly that – empower working professionals to take the next step in their education and careers without compromising personal or professional commitments.

Students in the degree completion program are eligible to apply for Federal financial aid by filling out the FAFSA form. Students in the degree completion program receive reduced tuition costs and are not eligible for state and/or institutional aid. Students are also not eligible for on-campus housing.

The tuition costs are below:
Rates are effective beginning 5/1/2024.

Cost per Credit Comprehensive Fee (Fall/Spring only) Academic Calendar/Schedule
Degree Completion programs $445 $150 7-week

Here are some examples of what you might pay per year based on your situation and before any federal financial aid and/or employer funding is applied:

Full-time student (12 credits) enrolled in Fall/Spring/Summer:

Tuition: 12 credits/semester x 3 semesters = 36 credits $16,020
Fees: Comprehensive fee (Fall/Spring) $300
Total: $16,320

Part-time student (6 credits) enrolled in Fall/Spring/Summer:

Tuition: 6 credits/semester x 3 semesters = 18 credits $8,010
Fees: Comprehensive fee (Fall/Spring) $300
Total: $8,310
Why a comprehensive fee?

AIC at its core strives to make the college experience accessible and understandable to anyone wanting to pursue a quality education. With the comprehensive fee, students know exactly what to expect when they enroll at AIC, without hidden charges or surprises down the road.

All rates are subject to change. Changes will be posted here.
Rates apply to all students, including military students.

Withdrawal from the College

All students who elect to leave American International College for reasons other than graduation MUST officially withdraw from the institution.

Students who withdraw prior to the end of the add/drop period for the term (or session) will receive a 100% reversal of tuition, fees, residence hall and meal charges. Undergraduate students who withdraw during the add/drop period will be charged a $750 withdrawal fee.

A limited pro-rate schedule specific to each academic calendar is applied for all withdrawals from the college that occur after the add/drop period. The refund schedules are posted on the Office of Student Accounts section of the myAIC Portal.
