As a way of celebrating our students from a distance, AIC will host a virtual Commencement ceremony on May 30, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will be available for viewing live. Check this page for new information and details regarding the 2020 Commencement proceedings as we draw closer to the date of the event.
In celebration of #AIC2020, Luminous Letter Co. of Suffield, CT generously provided this display from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. following AIC’s virtual commencement ceremony on May 30, 2020. During the showing, some of our newly-minted alumni stopped by to take photos with the display, visiting campus in socially-distanced increments. Thanks again to Luminous Letter Co. and congratulations to the class of 2020!

As a soon-to-be 2020 graduate, you’re about to follow in the footsteps of a long line of successful Yellow Jackets. To welcome you into the AIC alumni family, some of our past graduates would like to share their support, advice, and well-wishes as you move on to the next step in your journey.
Congratulations on your soon-to-be graduation from AIC! We could have never predicted the circumstances of your graduation year, but please know that your accomplishments shine bright even though we are away from campus. This is still a very exciting moment for you, for you’re getting ready to move on to your next chapter in life! For some graduates, that’s jumping right into the workforce. For others, the next chapter is continuing their education. Whatever comes next for you, we want to help you look back on your AIC experience fondly—to be proud to be a Yellow Jacket!
Your virtual commencement is Saturday, May 30th, but why wait to start celebrating? Student Life, Alumni, Athletics, and Marketing have all organized virtual engagement opportunities to help you stay connected to AIC through Commencement and beyond!
Please include your first and last name, major, cell phone number, mailing address, and non-AIC email address in all submissions.
Send us your picture! We are asking all graduates to send us a picture of themselves in their regalia. Don’t have your cap and gown yet? No worries! Send us your senior portrait or any photo that represents your time on campus. We will add a special “Commencement 2020” watermark to it and send it back to you for free! Email email@example.com to share your photos. One lucky submission will also win an AIC Alumni Prize Pack, including an AIC diploma frame.
Send us your favorite memory at AIC. Marketing will collect these memories and ask Rex to re-create them for you over the summer months. Email firstname.lastname@example.org by June 1st to ensure Rex has enough time to recreate the moment over the summer.
Experience your undergraduate memories over-and-over again with the 2020 Taper Yearbook! We are holding yearbooks for SENIORS until Friday, May 15th only, so don’t delay! Click here to get your 2020 Taper Yearbook!

Where there are different options (e.g., International Stoles, Military Stoles), students are instructed to leave selections in the Special Instructions field. Master’s and Doctoral candidates should also note their field of study in the special instructions box (e.g.,
Education, Business Administration, etc.), to ensure the correct degree color for your hood.
If you have questions about ordering regalia, please contact the Campus Store at email@example.com.
