Corrin Schulze, MEd

Biography

Corrin has taught college-level writing for more than 20 years and has been a member of the American International College community for the past four years. At AIC, she teaches writing courses that support students in developing confidence, clarity, and an authentic voice as writers.

Committed to student-centered instruction, Corrin works diligently to help students see writing as both a practical academic skill and a powerful form of self-expression. Her teaching emphasizes thoughtful revision, rhetorical awareness, and the critical-thinking skills students need to evaluate information, develop ideas, and communicate effectively.

Corrin also helps students navigate the growing role of artificial intelligence in writing. She teaches students to use AI tools effectively and ethically while maintaining ownership of their ideas, judgment, and individual voice. In an AI-driven world, she believes strong writers must be able to think critically, ask meaningful questions, assess sources and generated content, and make intentional choices about how they communicate.
