Biography
Jennifer Nordstrom is a practicing occupational therapist with 25 years specializing in acute care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Neuroscience, Cardiology, and Orthopedics. Jennifer began her teaching career in 2017 as an adjunct faculty educator, 2020-2021 as an Interim Instructor, and 2021 to present as an Assistant Professor at AIC. Jennifer’s teaching focuses on foundational OT skills, assistive technology, and preparing for the NBCOT exam. She also assists in teaching Kinesiology lab and OT Process: Adults. She serves on the AIC Academic Assessment Committee. Jennifer strives to provide an inclusive academic classroom that values diversity allowing students to learn while being their authentic self.
