American International College’s Athletics department maintains a unique set of brand elements and marks to be used in communications materials, on uniforms, in signage, and as needed to identify Athletics-focused content. Without prior approval from the Office of Marketing and Communications, no prior or alternative Athletics brand marks should be used.
Athletics Logos and Brand Elements
Primary Athletics Logo

The ‘AIC’ athletics styled lettermark serves as the primary identifying brand for American International College Athletics materials. Use this before other tertiary elements. Color variations are available where appropriate pending on background and use.
Rex the Yellow Jacket

The illustrated ‘Rex’ brand mark and variation should be used as a tertiary supportive brand element in AIC Athletics collateral. All earlier iterations of illustrated Yellow Jacket marks should be discontinued from use and are not permitted.
Yellow Jackets Wordmark

In situations where the College is otherwise identifiable or when deemed unnecessary, the Yellow Jackets wordmark may be used as an identifying brand mark for AIC’s Athletics department.
Social Media
Consistent with best practices in NCAA programs, AIC maintains general Athletics social media accounts as well as individual program-specific accounts. All official accounts including program accounts are managed by the Office of Marketing and Communications in conjunction with the Sports Information office.
Uniforms and Apparel
To ensure AIC’s student-athletes are easily recognizable, apparel and uniforms should be produced using these guidelines with regards to logos and content unless otherwise specified or approved by the Office of Marketing and Communications or senior Athletics administration.
