AIC at a Glance

Founded in 1885, American International College is a private, coeducational, four-year comprehensive institution of higher learning located in the geographic center of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Academic Portfolio

The academic organization of American International College is divided into three schools, each led by its own respective dean: the School of Business, Arts, and Sciences, the School of Education, and the School of Health Sciences.

Undergraduate academic programs include a wide array of liberal arts and sciences and career-related fields, including the humanities, the social sciences, the physical sciences, business administration, criminal justice, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, education, and more. Graduate academic programs in emerging and high-demand fields including business, criminal justice, education, health sciences, and psychology.

Financial Aid

Scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs are available for eligible students; academic scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement. 99% of all undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid.

The James J. Shea Sr. Memorial Library contains more than 76,000 volumes and 14,900 bound periodicals, plus subscriptions to more than 400 current periodicals. Through online database access, innumerable educational resources are available to our students.
