A Man for All Seasons

The terror threat posed by ISIS continues to be a major concern for the United States, as well as our allies in Europe. AIC Professor Gary Lefort is frequently called upon by local media outlets to share his perspective. It does not matter what time of the day or night he is called upon, he is always willing to help.

Professor Lefort is sort of like Superman. By day, he teaches international business in the School of Business, Arts, and Sciences, but he’s also called upon to comment on threats or acts of terrorism nationally and internationally.

As a retired career military officer who served overseas and at the Pentagon, Professor Lefort does not need to step into a phone booth to change into his Superman costume. He simply reports for duty at the local television stations.
