A Ton of Food!

Each year, the AIC men’s baseball team gives back to the community in a big way. Their annual Homerun for the Hungry canned food drive benefitted two local organizations this year, Square One in Springfield and Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and Pantry in nearby Chicopee, MA.

More than one ton of food – 2,672 pounds to be exact – was donated to help those in need. Peter Pan Bus Lines provided transportation at no cost for the team members and the dozens of boxes of donated goods.
