AIC signs collaboration and partnership agreement with St. Paul University in the Philippines

As part of AIC’s commitment to increasing its international presence and visibility, and to creating opportunities for student and faculty exchange and student mobility, Hubert Benitez, president, and Nicolle Cestero, chief operating officer, have signed a partnership agreement with St. Paul University in the Philippines (SPUP) on behalf of AIC. 

SPUP gained the distinction of being the first private Catholic university in Asia and the first private university in the Philippines granted an ISO 9001 Certification. It was recognized in the top 101-200 innovative universities in the world in 2021, and is one of only sixteen universities in the Philippines selected by the World Bank as a Knowledge for Development Center (KDC).

The intent of this partnership is to increase opportunities for AIC and St. Paul’s across several domains, including faculty exchanges for teaching and research, conducting joint research, student exchange, intercultural immersion programs, and advanced education opportunities for students in a virtual format. 

A ceremonial signing will take place at St. Paul University on December 7, 2022, prior to the initiation of the International Interdisciplinary Research Conference, which is being co-hosted by AIC, with a keynote being delivered by President Benitez.
