Athletic Director’s 3.0 Club

There was standing room only as more than 500 team members and their coaches packed American International College’s (AIC) Esther B. Griswold Theatre to attend the AIC Athletic Director’s 3.0 Club induction ceremony. The 156 student-athletes inducted represent a 4% increase from last year.

The annual ceremony, held at the beginning of each fall semester, recognizes returning student-athletes who have achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better after attending AIC for one year or more. Its purpose is to recognize the student in student-athlete by celebrating academic achievement. The overarching goal for these young men and women is to be recognized as academic role models and serve as an inspiration for all student-athletes…especially those new to AIC.
