AIC has joined a growing list of colleges and universities in requiring full vaccination by all students and employees prior to returning to campus for the fall semester.
All employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination and to be fully vaccinated by Aug. 2. All students will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to coming to campus for the fall semester and no later than Aug. 15, 2021. The requirement applies to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Full vaccination includes a two-week period after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or two weeks after a one-dose vaccine. This policy will allow AIC to operate a fully functional campus without requirements of masks or social distancing, according to President Vincent Maniaci.
Students may request a medical or religious exemption from receiving the vaccine. More information about the process can be found here.
