The AIC men's ice hockey team

The American International College ice hockey team was named the winner of the Atlantic Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award for the second straight year, as announced by the conference prior to the semifinal match-ups.

The award is given to the team which is the least penalized among the conference squads, and the Yellow Jackets have always been in contention for this trophy. They also won it in the first year of Atlantic Hockey play, 2003-04, and missed it by a single penalty minute in 2007-08.

Seven AIC players with significant games played this season committed just five or fewer penalties for the entire year.

Congratulations on netting goals with character.
