Graduate Nursing Programs Receive Ten-Year Reaccreditation

AIC campus

The master’s degree program in nursing at American International College (AIC) has been reaccredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). During a meeting on April 25-28, 2023, the CCNE Board of Commissioners acted to approve accreditation for ten years, extending to June 30, 2033. The action is effective as of October 5, 2022, the first day of the program’s CCNE on-site evaluation.

During the meeting, the CCNE Board of Commissioners used the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (2018) to evaluate AIC’s master’s nursing program. The board determined that all four accreditation standards are met without any compliance concerns with respect to the key elements.

The post-graduate APRN certificate program at American International College is also accredited following the CCNE Board of Commissioners during its meeting on April 25-28, 2023, and the effective date of accreditation is October 5, 2022.
